2025 BC DERBY RECAP

Rondelito (Jockey Kimal Santo) won the 78th BC Derby with outstanding performance.

Amadeo Perez led all riders with four victories on the card, while Antonio Reyes recorded a riding triple. Richard Balgobin added two wins of his own, and trainer Barbara Heads registered a training double. Nine of the day’s twelve races were captured by British Columbia-breds, including both the Derby and Oaks winners. Total wagering for the program reached $1,117,399.
